The Shiddiky Laboratory incorporates a non-hierarchical structure to ensure equity among lab members. We emphasize active collaboration among lab members, combined with engagement with other groups at Charles Sturt University (Orange Campus) and beyond, to accelerate the research momentum. Weekly journal club meetings are designed to facilitate brainstorming and maintain a healthy collaborative research environment in the laboratory.

Postdoctoral researchers and higher degree by research (HDR) students (PhD, Masters, and Honours) are welcome to our laboratory.

Application Requirements

Interested applicants should submit an expression of interest (EOI) to Professor Muhammad J. A. Shiddiky (Email: [email protected]) containing:

  • Statement addressing your suitability for the project/scholarship. Strategic alignment of your project with our existing and emerging research activities (Please check our Research and Publications)
  • Your direct knowledge to successfully conduct the proposed research project in a timely manner, and evidence of the ‘fit’ between your knowledge and the proposed research topic
